Karen is a certified Behavior Analyst, with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and Sociology and Master’s in Special Education, both acquired at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. In 2012, she also acquired a degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Kaplan University. Since 1978, she has worked with several different schools in disciplines ranging from Special Education to “Positive Alternatives to Student Suspension”.
