“I have seen how individuals benefit from participating in music therapy sessions. Music has the ability to allow a person to process and express their ideas and feelings in ways in which they do not feel threatened or uncomfortable. Music therapy provides a safe space for families to work together and for individuals to develop healthy coping strategies to deal with mental illnesses.”
