Registered Social Work Counseling Intern
My goal in therapy is to give people a place to really breathe, be heard, and feel comfortable enough to be vulnerable with themselves. I love helping people realize they don’t have to carry everything alone.

Tia earned her bachelors in psychology from Florida State University and her masters in clinical social work from University of South Florida in 2021. She recently spent several years as a therapist in a residential eating disorder treatment facility helping adolescents and adults understand and fight their eating disorders, while reconnecting with their true selves. She has experience working with clients in outpatient, IOP, PHP, and residential levels of care and with individuals aged 13 to 80.
Tia offers individual and family therapy and prioritizes individualizing her approach for her clients. She uses a range of modalities, but tends to use a basis of cognitive behavioral therapy and narrative therapy in her sessions and encourages clients to understand, but not internalize, their current struggles. She particularly enjoys working to help people improve communication with their loved ones, understand themselves and their emotions, lower self-criticism and increase self-compassion, and move forward with their goals.
